About Cook Counseling And Consulting, Inc
We are Cook Counseling and Consulting Inc., a group of psychotherapists with a wide range of experiences and specialties. We work with clients with various concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, BPD, and trauma. We use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Cognitive Processing (CPT), Dialectical (DBT), Couples Therapy, and Trauma Focused therapies. We believe in treating everyone with respect and working with clients and couples to identify strengths and develop the skills to navigate life's challenges. We also offer supervision for LSWs seeking independent licensure.
We are calm and laid back. We use active listening to gain information about the situation and to ask targeted questions to get you thinking about things from a more profound or different perspective. You will have a safe space to be yourself without judgment. Together we will define and enhance your strengths to help you achieve healing and wellness.
In your first therapy session, you can expect to share a bit about your history, and we will work together collaboratively to set goals for treatment. It takes courage to seek treatment and to take the first steps toward change. We are here to support and empower you if you are ready to take that step. We look forward to working with you!
