About Truffles Vein Specialists

VenaSeal

The VenaSeal™ closure system is the only non-tumescent, non-thermal, non-sclerosant procedure that uses a proprietary medical adhesive delivered endovenously to close the vein.

Endovenous Ablation

Radio-frequency endovenous ablation of the saphenous veins is the primary treatment for venous insufficiency because increased pressure in the venous system causes varicose veins.

Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy

Ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy is performed as a secondary treatment to endovenous ablation in the treatment of varicose veins. Is a medical treatment with cosmetic results.

Visible Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy for the small reticular or spider veins of the leg. Performed on its own or in conjunction with endovenous ablation for larger bulging varicose veins.

Comprehensive Venous Evaluation and Treatment Plans

Truffles Vein Specialists has the highest level of venous and vascular testing in the nation. Brian Sapp RVT, RPhS won the Eugene Strandness Award for Vascular Research in 2014 for his venous work. He is a founding member of the Truffles Vein Specialists created and teaches the diagnosis and management of chronic venous insufficiency for Philips Healthcare. Brian is on the professional guidelines committee for the Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) and lectures extensively throughout the United States and internationally on vein disease. Every sonographer at Truffles Vein Specialists performs diagnostic testing at the highest level.

Varithena Micro-Foam Therapy

Varithena (polidocanol injectable foam) is a prescription medicine used to treat varicose veins caused by problems with the great saphenous (GSV), anterior accessory saphenous (AASV), small saphenous vein (SSV) and varicosities off of the saphenous veins. Varithena improves symptoms related to or caused by varicose veins, and the appearance of varicose veins.
