• I am a preferred provider with BCBS, BCBS Healthy Montana Kids, Allegiance, Cigna, Aetna, EBMS, Pacific Source, United health Care, First Health Choice, Montana Health Co-Op, Medicare Part B, BCBS Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Healthy Montana Kids Plus.

• Medicare Part B covers Medical Nutrition Therapy for diabetes and kidney disease.

• Medicaid only pays for nutrition services through the age of 18 under Medicaid Healthy Montana Kid Plus. There is no nutrition coverage past the age of 18.

• Pacific Source limits nutrition coverage to anorexia, bulimia, diabetes, and inborn errors of metabolism. First, you pay in full the prepay amount without insurance, but I will bill the allowable insurance amount to Pacific Source. After you have met your deductible, than you pay the out of pocket which is anywhere from 20% to 30%, and after you have paid your out of pocket, nutrition counseling is covered in full.

• BCBS Healthy Montana Kids limit nutrition coverage to diabetes and obesity.

• Before our initial visit, I call your insurance to inquire about your coverage.

• I am able and willing to set up a contract with any other health insurance that covers nutritional services and become a preferred provider.

TRICARE doesn't cover services provided by a nutritionist or dietitian excepts when provided during an inpatient hospital stay
