About Michele L. Craven, FNP-BC
I've been a nurse for almost 20 years in a wide variety of clinical settings, including both inpatient and ambulatory care. Prior to becoming a nurse, I worked in a variety of settings where I provided case-management and links to social support services. I completed training as a NP in 2020, just as the pandemic began, and my first position was in Internal Medicine at Bellevue Hospital in NYC, where I worked and lived in a hotel for the first four months of the pandemic. Following that, I returned to the Hudson Valley, and began working in Addiction treatment. I currently provide outpatient medication and supportive services to persons who live with addiction, utilizing the most up-to-date guidelines, with a goal of supporting patients to live fulfilling lives. We incorporate principles of harm reduction into every aspect of what we do. Additionally, within the past year I have started treating patients with co-occurring hepatitis C, following a clinical education project with NYS. Patients may now be treated at the clinic, without the need for outside referrals.
