We are a full-service vein specialty care center that focuses on the treatment of lower extremity venous insufficiency, including varicose and spider veins. Vein Institute of Pittsburgh℠ was founded by Terrance R. Krysinski, MD. With patient satisfaction, education, and care ingrained into the founding principles of the practice, each patient is taken care of. Our vein treatments are customized to our patient’s needs, related to lifestyle, preference when possible, and optimal effectiveness. At Vein Institute of Pittsburgh℠, we make sure that every one of our patients is fully aware of healthy vein function and the signs that come with insufficient lower extremity veins. All treatment options are explained to our patients in full so that they have a better picture of recovery and future preventative care. Not only do we educate our patients about lower extremity venous conditions and their treatments, but we follow up with our patients long after treatment has passed with ultrasounds to monitor their lower extremity veins for new or worsening issues. Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) is chronic in nature, making long-term monitoring an important part of complete vein care.
