About The Natural Path to Health

What to expect when visiting Dr. Kristin

Tell me your story. As soon as the introductions and paperwork are checked, Dr. Kristin will lean back in her chair and ask you to tell her your story. And she will listen and take notes because this reveals the most important part of your health concerns: How your life story has spun to who you are today. And she trusts you to share the most relevant parts because it is after all your life and your health. As your story unravels, her notes start to connect and she analyzes those connections. She may ask some questions to expand upon relevant points in your story or help you recall what was happening when your health concerns began. Establishing a diagnosis is how a doctor treats a disease. Understanding your life – your habits, stressors, traditions, and exposures is how Dr. Kristin guides you, as a whole individual, down your path to health. Finding and treating the underlying cause of your health concerns.

Then she will ask about the foundations of your health such as sleep, diet, and support system, and create a plan with you to fortify those foundations and remove obstacles that prevent your body from healing itself. She meets you wherever you are, no cookie-cutter instructions, and builds up from there. She may take a moment to explain the science behind a treatment plan suggestion so you can understand why those changes are so important. If any changes seem really challenging for you, she’ll help break it down to simpler steps in the right direction and offers you plenty of support to turn your health goals into healthy lifelong habits.

Dr. Kristin has helped patients all over the world with online consultations, but if you are able to visit her in person, she will do a gentle hands-on physical exam. Using highly attuned training in visceral manipulation and cranial sacral, she is able to detect exactly where organs and tissues are dysfunctioning before any imaging. With her thorough medical education, she knows when to refer to specialists and further testing.

Education plays a vital part in recovery. Dr.Kristin makes sure that you do not only know WHAT you need to do to follow your natural path to health but WHY you need to make those lifestyle changes or take a supplement or herb-based on scientific research, clinical experience, physiology, and biochemistry.

At the end of your appointment, she will build a plan together with you, which allows you to provide plenty of feedback to make sure it is a plan you are enthusiastic to start and fully understand its relevance. You’ll receive at every appointment a printout of an easy-to-read plan with the primary goals, projects, diet, therapies, and supplements. But her services don’t end with the appointment. She is easy to reach and continues to offer support for you to follow the treatment plan and reach your primary goal before your next visit. She is there to guide you down YOUR natural path to health.
