About Nurse Practitioner Consultants
Who are we? Nurse Practitioner Consultants has been in Senior Living communities since 2018. We are the premier service for onsite clinics in large scale senior living communities. Nurse Practitioner Consultants is a business that believes in the holistic, honest, and reliable care of any individual who comes into our offices seeking attention. We firmly believe in the idea of follow-up and assisting individuals in establishing the best health they can have. We also do our best to keep costs low while consistently exceeding a high level of care.
What do we do? Nurse Practitioner Consultants operates as an onsite primary care clinic with the goal of keeping the residents/patients onsite and out of the hospital by offering a multitude of services. Our goal is to keep the residents safe in the community and to provide onsite healthcare without the patients having to leave the community for it. We work by both scheduling appointments and on a Walk-in basis.
Some of our services include but are not limited to Urgent Care: providing the ability to order onsite mobile x ray, ultrasound, ECHO and other diagnostics in the patient’s home. We provide advanced wound care: this includes laceration repair, edema care, wound care, post-surgical care, chronic wound management, pressure ulcer treatment and more. In addition, we provide lab services through Sonora quest with on-site lab draws. We have machines in the clinic that test onsite: urinalysis, onsite COVID testing, flu testing, strep testing, and drug/alcohol testing. We also provide routine services for seniors such as nail clipping, ear wax removal, all vaccinations including COVID, Tdap, Flu, Shingles etc. We provide onsite memory evaluation and work with LTC, AL and memory care to place patients in danger or in need of higher level of care, we do not even need to be their primary care provider. We work with all providers and specialties as a team to provide the best care without the wait.
We can provide occupational health including on site drug screen, flu injections, TB testing, Covid testing for your community’s pre hires and for compliance. We are happy to see staff and families, as well as outside patients if the community desires.

How do we do it? We work with the community to alleviate pain points with healthcare and compliance. Each Community has different needs and desires, by offering admin support, we have a direct line to make changes or address these needs. By working with the community, we can be onsite 5 days a week as a true clinic.
Nurse Practitioner Consultants is a teaching group and our owner and lead provider, Kelly Schultz DNP, is in charge of all the clinical placements. Kelly Schultz is a DNP with a specialty in Geriatrics and wound care. We work with several colleges and students, having many students who are doing their Doctoral and master’s level clinical rotations. These students are in training with us for over a year and become very knowledgeable in the care of seniors as a specialty. This helps us keep our clinic staffed with the correct people and allows us to build the trust and consistency necessary to be successful.
This is a premier service and can be marketed as such. We can see outside patients, which will assist your community in bringing potential residents and their families onsite. With a full-service clinic onsite, the decision on where to place mom and dad becomes much easier.
