About Marin Advanced Wound Center, PC
Marin Advanced Wound Center (MAWC) treats chronic non-healing wounds from head to toe. We use evidence-based medicine and the latest or most effective techniques for a particular wound to achieve the fastest healing rates. MAWC takes Medicare, MediCal, Partnership, and most major insurance carriers and is on the Meritage Network. When a patient is homebound and/or it is taxing for them to come to a medical office, MAWC provides the initial wound assessment and writes wound care orders for any of multiple home health agencies to continue care at home. This allows the wounds to be attended today with the proper frequency such as 2x weekly or 3x weekly. We follow patients with a wound immediately following a hospital discharge to provide excellent continuity of care. MAWC has relationships with many wonderful vascular surgeons, podiatrists, plastic surgeons, and dermatologists for referral if needed.
