Jason and Andrea Moss bring a unique blend of personal experience, professional training, and a shared passion for holistic health to their acupuncture clinic, the AcuShack. Their combined expertise and deep commitment to healing created a welcoming space where patients receive gentle, personalized care.
The AcuShack started with a back injury and a surgeon's recommendation that Jason Moss wasn't ready to accept. After 25 years working as a chef and culinary instructor, a lumbar injury threatened to end his career. Acupuncture healed him without surgery, and the experience changed his life. It also became the foundation of the practice he now runs with his wife Andrea, a fellow licensed acupuncturist certified in traditional Japanese-style technique.
Today, the AcuShack serves patients across Miller Place, Mount Sinai, Rocky Point, Port Jefferson, Sound Beach, and the surrounding North Shore communities. We see infants and grandparents, athletes and expectant mothers, and just about everyone in between. We treat the whole person rather than chasing one symptom at a time, and we do it with the gentlest tools the tradition has to offer.
