The West Jefferson Medical Center is operating the drive-thru center seven days a week from noon until 8 p.m.
Before you can get tested, you will need to call the medical center's COVID-19 hotline at 504-962-6202.
You will speak to a nurse and will receive instructions to be screened in person.
Health care workers will take your temperatures, ask questions and, if necessary, administer a flu test.
If you test negative for the flu, they can then swab you for the coronavirus.
Results take about five days
