Hilary Ortega is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida working under supervision of Dr. Shlomo Pascal, medical director. In 2011, she obtained her RN degree and was instantaneously drawn to psychiatry. In the start of her career as a bedside nurse she cared for patients at their most vulnerable, instilling values of protection and compassion for those in need. As a travel nurse, she worked in various locations with diversified populations including veterans, adults, adolescents, and geriatrics across the United States such as Hilo, HI., San Diego., CA., Elko, NV., San Antonio, TX., Albuquerque, NM., and Fort Lauderdale, FL. To this day, Hilary is still an avid lifelong learner and enjoys teaching others. As a dual-certified Family Nurse General Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, she is able to assess and comprehend the complex processes that may be influencing your health as a whole in order to best determine an appropriate treatment plan. Her ideology includes prolonging quality of life by promoting healthy lessons and behaviors. Her hobbies include weight lifting, cooking, reading, and spending time near or in the ocean with family and friends.
Diagnosis and treatment for ADHD, various forms of anxiety disorders, binge eating disorder, depression, PTSD, PMDD, insomnia, erectile dysfunction, alcoholism, and others. Due to limitations of telemedicine patients with history of psychosis, recent suicide attempt or suicidal thoughts in the past 6 months, thought disorders, bipolar type 1, and forms of dementia are excluded.
