We are both perfect and imperfect. We can love and accept ourselves for who we are right now. And we can learn, change, develop, and grow every day to become more and more the best person we can be. Whether we believe it is Divine Will or the natural consequence of previous events, what has already happened can be learned from, but cannot be changed. We can carry around negative emotions, or we can make peace. What can change is what we do today or tomorrow or how we respond. In order to do this, what we most need to change are our thoughts. And the thoughts we most need to change are the negative thoughts we have about ourselves, about "people," and about "the world." The glass is both half full AND half empty. If we've been focused on the emptiness in life, and it hasn't brought us to where we want to be, let's shift more of our focus to the fullness in life and see what happens :)
