About Diversified Autism Clinical Services

At Diversified Autism Clinical Services, we rely on a scientific evidence-based treatment known as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Currently considered the gold standard in the treatment of autism spectrum disorder, ABA applies a systematic data-based approach in the assessment, evaluation, and application of research-backed autism spectrum disorder interventions. We are committed to improving the quality of life of individuals, families, and communities affected by autism spectrum disorder. The beneficial aspects of our treatment are aimed at building upon individuals existing skills while working to reduce challenging behaviors that interfere with learning acquisition resulting in socially significant changes in the lives of our clients.

Behavior Techniques

The behavior technician is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a behavior analyst or assistant behavior analyst certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and/or credentialed by a state (such as through licensure). The behavior technician is primarily responsible for the implementation of components of behavior-analytic treatment plans developed by the supervisor. That may include collecting data on treatment targets and conducting certain types of behavioral assessments (e.g., stimulus preference assessments). The behavior technician does not design treatment or assessment plans or procedures but provides services as assigned by the supervisor responsible for his or her work.
