About Alethea J. Thomas, LPC
I work with adults who are struggling with a depressed and/or anxious mood to experience a more hopeful and purposeful life. Former clients say that through therapy they were able to regain a balanced and satisfying life.
My professional focus in counseling is on improving mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health. I approach my practice from a Christian worldview and am willing to discuss how faith can assist in recovery and emotional wellbeing. I encourage clients to embrace the concept of a Higher Power at work to restore them to sanity as is expressed in 12 Step Programs.
Counseling involves digging deep, learning new ways of thinking, challenging old behaviors, and being courageous enough to believe that you can change and grow no matter where you are in your life journey.
