I am happy to say that I have been able to learn about ranching and gardening in Texas for the past ten years as I pursued my professional and educational goals in integrative health. My focus in all of these endeavors is to learn all that I can to improve the health of the land, the animals, and the people that I care for.

I am a Licensed Acupuncturist and received a Master of Art in Oriental Medicine degree from AOMA, Austin, Texas, in 2008.

In 2013 I became one of the first Certified Functional Medicine Practitioners in the United States through the Institute for Functional Medicine.

In 2014 I received an RN-BSN in Nursing degree from Wayland Baptist University and then graduated from Herzing University’s Master of Science program in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner in November, 2016.

I continue to further my knowledge base and clinical skills to offer the most comprehensive and integrative wellness care for my clients. In addition to the above, I have received training and certification in Prolotherapy, Intravenous Nutrition and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy. I am currently enrolled in the Fellowship Program of the Metabolic Medical Institute branch of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

I live with my husband, Ron Cummings, on our ranch which is home to grassfed sheep and cows as well as pigs and chickens. I have dear horse friends that are my special buddies and together we are students of French Dressage, more specifically Philippe Karl’s Ecole de Légèreté (The School of Lightness). My wonderful equitation instructor is Brenda Lantz who is a student of Philippe Karl (www.brendalantz.com). The other place you will likely find me is in the garden as I am passionate about growing beautiful organic vegetables!
