Dr. Chen graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then received his doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry and went on to continue his optometry studies at both Northeastern State University and Heights Eye Center, where he had extensive, hands-on experience in corneal diseases, cataracts pre-and post-op exams, and retinal pathology.

Dr. Chen is certified by the Texas Optometry Board and currently serves as a therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist at Glimpse. He practices all aspects of optometry, ranging from binocular vision to “dry eye” care. Additionally, Dr. Chen is himself a member of the Texas Optometric Association, an organization that supports the growth of optometry through outstanding patient care.
