I moved my practice to State College, Pennsylvania, from the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area to be closer to my family. I received my Master of Divinity in 1983 from Oral Roberts University School of Theology in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I completed postgraduate work at Texas Christian University Brite Divinity School in Ft. Worth, Texas. Later I received my Master of Science in Counseling and Guidance from Texas A&M University: Commerce, Texas in 1987. I did a year residency at the Baylor University Medical Center in Clinical Pastoral Education. I was the past president of the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter and State Board Member of the Christian Counselors of Texas.
