About Michele Anthony, MSW, LCSW
Clients are sometimes curious about my personal background. I grew up a military brat, but have lived in the St. Peters, Missouri area for the past 35+ years. I have been happily married since 1995 and have two grown children, one grown stepdaughter, and four grandchildren. I very much enjoy hanging out at home and with family and I’m fine if there isn’t much going on around me. During the summer, my husband and I enjoy visiting our family and my high school friends in the mountains. My husband and I attend church regularly as do our kids and grandchildren. I love Christmas and I love having all my family here for Christmas dinner. And even though I hate it, I exercise 6 days a week and have done so for the past 35+ years.
From the above paragraph, you might glean that I moved around a bit as a kid and you might guess (and rightly so) that I’ve divorced once. You could conclude accurately that I raised two biological teenagers. You’d be right to say I am a member of a blended family and as such have helped raise one stepdaughter from the age of 7. Need I say that these transitions were stressful? I understand that life is often not easy.
Education
