Retired Navy Captain. Performed Cardiac, Thoracic and vascular surgery from 1992-2014 then transitioned to full time Phlebology/Vein care. I started the first vein program in St. Joseph, Missouri, Cameron Missouri, and Quincy Illinois. I currently run the Nellestein Vein Institute in St. Joseph, Missouri and, 205 miles East, run the vein program for Blessing Hospital in Quincy Illinois. I have state of the art skill sets for spider veins, varicose veins, and both thermal and non-thermal venous ablation strategies.
