Additional post-graduate training is required to become a dental specialist.

He graduated with distinction, majoring in Nutritional Science, with minors in Analytical Chemistry and Health Ecology. Dr. Kanellis received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas; graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2013.
