Dr. Marianna Petrosyan opened California Optometry in 2022 and has over 12 years of experience working in medical optometry. She provides the absolute best in quality eye care, giving patients thorough examinations, and quality time with the patient while using the latest and most advanced technology at the office.
When she is not seeing patients at her office, she continues working alongside one the top Ophthalmologists in the field Dr. Alan Berg and Dr. Robert Feinfield.
She takes great strides in learning and staying up to date with the latest advancements in eye care. She has great technology at the office which includes retinal photography, OCT, anterior segment imaging and photography, and a virtual visual field. She believes some of this technology is essential in diagnosing and managing ocular conditions which can sometimes be more sensitive than the human eye.
Eye care is about having a great patient experience from check-in to check-out and her office strives to do that. California Optometry was designed by herself with all of that in mind. She wanted the office to convey a peaceful, pleasant atmosphere with clean tones and abundant natural light and natural plants. The office also has an extensive beautiful selection of frames in their Optical Boutique, along with an on-site laboratory where quick lens services can be provided for patients, as well as a coffee and beverage station for the patients.
Next to California Optometry is California Dental where her husband has been practicing dentistry for more than twenty years. Patients can come and get their teeth cleaned and have or schedule an eye appointment on the same day.
Education
She graduated from Optometry School with honors at the prestigious Southern California College of Optometry in 2010. She has extensive experience in medical optometry where she has been working alongside top Ophthalmologists for the past 12 years. She has consulted and managed thousands of patients in Lasik, PRK, Cataracts, implantable contact lens (ICL)’s, Crosslinking, and Pterygium surgical procedures. She has great knowledge and experience with all the advanced technology of lenses used in Cataract Procedures. She also enjoys seeing patients who have developed double vision and is very patient and passionate about working with these patients. She is certified to treat glaucoma and feels comfortable managing a vast number of ocular conditions.
