David T. Jacobs, M.D. DABR, has devoted his medical career to the treatment of venous disease. Based in New York, he personally handles all cases at his practice South Shore Vein – the only dedicated vein practice on the south shore of Nassau County. Dr. David T. Jacobs holds dual Board Certifications in radiology and in phlebology (vein medicine), which is a certification held by fewer than 900 physicians in the United States.

Before opening his own practice, Dr. David T. Jacobs completed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, as well as an additional fellowship specifically focused on vascular malformations at the Medical College of Wisconsin, training with world experts in the field.

Dr. David T. Jacobs has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and is the author of a chapter on vascular malformations in a newly published textbook – Interventional Radiology: Fundamentals of Clinical Practice. He is a member of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society (formerly the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine), the American College of Radiology, the American Board of Radiology, the American Medical Association, and Radiological Society of North America.
