About Deepak Sudheendra, MD, RPVI, FSIR
Deepak Sudheendra, MD, FSIR, RPVI is an Assistant Professor of Interventional Radiology & Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. After attending New York Medical College, Dr. Sudheendra completed nearly a full general surgery residency at the Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University with plans to specialize in cardiothoracic surgery. His interest in cardiovascular disease and more importantly, his need to practice cutting-edge medicine led him to a career in Interventional Radiology. He completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship at the George Washington University Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Radiology. In addition, he is the founder of AngioCare, LLC which provides surgical critical care services to area hospitals. His clinical interests include interventional oncology, peripheral arterial & venous disease, and surgical critical care.
