Ms. Nico Linsteadt is a Certified General Care Respiratory Therapist in Lamar, MO with special training and skill in entry-level National Board for Respiratory Care certification for diagnosing and treating heart and lung issues. As a Certified General Care Respiratory Therapist, Nico Linsteadt, AE-C, CRT performs daily respiratory care and monitoring of patients alongside other physicians. General Care Respiratory Therapy - Certified is the care of patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunctions. Significant diseases and conditions treated by Certified General Care Respiratory Therapists include sleep apnea, asthma, emphysema, bronchitis, pneumonia, cystic fibrosis, heart attack, drowning, and chest trauma. Medical tests, procedures and therapies provided by Certified General Care Respiratory Therapists include pulmonary function test, blood test, chest physical therapy, aerosol medication, ventilator, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

This level of care includes diagnostics testing, therapeutics, monitoring, rehabilitation of patients with disorders of the cardiopulmonary system, as well as, education of the patient and family in regard to those disorders.
