About Jessica L. Stangenwald, DC, RN, FNP-BC
Dr. Jessica Lynn Stangenwald has been providing family wellness care since 2005. She graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX in 2004. She has had special training in pediatrics, pregnancy, woman's wellness, weight loss and nutrition.
Dr. Stangenwald enjoys teaching and does volunteer public speaking to groups including PTA's, woman's support groups, church groups, corporate prevention health programs and community health fairs. Dr. Stangenwald graduated from MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas in 1995. After graduation, she attended University of Dallas and worked toward her Biology degree.
In 1999, Dr. Stangenwald graduated from University of Texas - Arlington with a BS in Biology. In 2001, she completed her Masters in Biology and then went to Parker College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Stangenwald was born in MI on February 28. She moved to Texas when she was nine and currently resides in Euless with her husband and two daughters, Jaelyn and Jaxyn, their yorkie, Wilbur, and their two large salt water fish tanks.
Dr. Stangenwald is a certified American Heart CPR instructor, a certified backpack safety instructor, and a member of Chiropractic Leadership Alliance, Society of Chiropractic Masters, Doctors' Speakers Bureau, The Foundation for Wellness Professions and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
Jaelyn was born at home with a midwife on February 2, 2005. She received her first adjustment when she was seven minutes old and has received regular adjustments ever since. She has never taken any prescription or over the counter drugs. Adjustments help her immune system function properly; therefore, she does not need any outside influence. The body knows what it is doing.
Jaxyn was also born at home with a midwife October 2009 and received her first adjustment when she was two days old.
Dr. Stangenwald spends her free time with her family, playing tennis and golf, putting together puzzles, scuba diving, and traveling. She also spends her time going to the bike trails, the zoo, coloring, playing computer Clifford games, going to shows and events, or just hanging out.
