Dr. Zhang graduated from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SUTCM) in 1977, which is the world-leading medicine education and research institute on Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
Dr. Zhang has researched liver disease at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital's Department of Pathology, Sheffield University in the United Kingdom in 1990.
