About Rayni Collins, DMT-BC, LPC, LCMHC
Make changes with someone, such as myself, who has sat in both seats: as the client and as the therapist. As with many others, I began my therapy experience sitting opposite myself - as a client. In the past, I thought I was "crazy" and the only one who suffered emotionally. I soon discovered that I was wrong in the best possible way: that I was not alone and that there were ways to cope. Over the years, it has been a rewarding experience for me to have sat in both the client's and counselor's seats. What I have learned sitting in both seats is that there are many common themes we all experience in life. We are all individuals trying to navigate the events of our lives, having feelings, emotions, and behaviors. My purpose is to help others be more curious about the way they feel and behave, which can lead to the discovery of a happier, healthier life. The steps between curiosity and discovery is where therapy happens. Therapy is a rewarding commitment to yourself. And I want to support you in that commitment. That is why I offer 15-minute consultations (or meet-and-greets) to answer any questions regarding therapy and working with me.
