About Timothy Rogers, MA, LMFT
You don’t have to be hopeful about the future. It’s enough just to be curious about what is coming.
I’m a California State Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFC101500). I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology and am in pursuit of my PhD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology.
TRANSFORMING BEFORE TRANSMITTING
We need people. People who are going to reopen our wounds. That’s the only way we heal them. Not by avoiding. By stepping into, & going toward the pain of our past. going through and by reopening, learning, and feeling that pain enough to transform it WITH the people who will stand by us as we do.
NOT-SO-SIMPLE SYMPTOMS
We start by addressing the symptoms of your trauma. Yes, that thing(s) that happened to you as a child, “counts” as trauma.
PERSONALITY DEFORMATIONS
I successfully treat the symptoms of trauma such as drug/alcohol abuse, anxiety/depression, and infidelity or low Self-worth. I also help you experience real relief from years of thinking, feeling, and behaving in ways that make it painfully obvious to the world just how much your complex traumas of childhood have yet to be resolved.:
PURPOSEFUL THERAPY
Once the symptoms have been treated long enough (of which you, me and your defenses will determine), your treatment can be more existentially focused. As you accept your value and then implement this truth, you can mentor others on their journey. Remembering yourself in this way can provide you with a purposeful life and place more meaning of significance to your existence.
LASTING A LIFETIME
Due to many circumstances beyond your control (aka childhood), you may have forgotten your true Self. But if you, your partner, and/or members of your family choose to team up with me in being courageous rather than critical of you, then you can each learn how to be attracted to what’s healthy, and I can be the last Therapist you see.
