About Wendy Morrison, PhD, MS, MA
Dr. Morrison has over a decade of experience providing individual therapy and conducting psychological assessments. In addition to private practice, Dr. Morrison is a Senior Staff Psychologist at the University of Denver’s Health and Counseling Center, where she provides direct therapy, crisis intervention, assessment, and outreach services to university students, faculty, and staff. Dr. Morrison also serves as the Coordinator of the Psychological Assessment Program, where she oversees the assessment and testing services provided by Counseling Services (specializing in Learning Disabilities and ADHD) and works in close collaboration with the University’s Disabilities Services Program (DSP) and the Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP). She also teaches and supervises doctoral interns and other trainees on the practice of assessment and psychotherapy.
Dr. Morrison also holds a teaching appointment as adjunct faculty in the PsyD program at the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver.
In addition to university settings, Dr. Morrison’s experience includes serving a wide range of populations, from a Denver community mental health center (Jefferson Center for Mental Health), a middle school, a non-profit clinic specializing in trauma, a residential treatment center, and internationally with children in Quito, Ecuador.
