I am an Acupuncture Physician with a special focus on herbal medicine and the use of different nutraceutical medications and supplements to positively impact health and prevent disease. I have experience working as a solo practitioner, as part of a health co-op, and as a member of a functional medicine team. I specialize in treating patients dealing with chronic illness, such as allergies, autoimmunity, and rheumatological issues. By finding the underlying cause (or more often than not, causes) of the illness and working to eliminate the problem at its source, my patients are able to improve their quality of life while simultaneously reducing or often eliminating their need for certain medications or treatments. In addition, I am available as a consultant to review challenging patient cases and find ingredients in their medications and supplement regimen that could be creating potential issues, such as certain binders, coatings, animal products, common allergens, and certain plant compounds like sterols, prebiotic fibers, sugar alcohols, or histamines and histamine liberators. I also have ample experience designing supplement lines; taking things from an idea to a finished product including formulation, packaging, labeling, tear sheets, and reference guides. I also donate my time as a guest lecturer who speaks on the benefits of plant medicine and edible/medicinal plants that can be found in Florida.
