After college, Dr. Elqutub pursued a professional football career in the Canadian Football League with the B.C Lions, as well as the Indoor Football League with the West Texas Wildcatters. He eventually put up his helmet to put on his white coat when he discovered what Osteopathic Medicine was.
His passion includes Osteopathic Manipulation, Integrative Medicine, and Holistic Medicine. He is known for his bedside manner, listening skills, and holistic approach to medicine.
He is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Sophia, and they are fortunate to have 2 wonderful boys.
Education
Dr. Yaser Elqutub completed his medical school training at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, TX, and was a chief resident at the UT Southwestern Family Medicine program in Dallas, TX. In his undergraduate career, Dr. Elqutub majored in Scientific Inquiry with a minor in philosophy at the Louisiana Scholars' College at Northwestern State University, where he also played collegiate football.
