Ashley G. Ingolia, MD, FACP is a Ponchatoula native with extensive Internal Medicine training and is involved in multiple societies in which she holds leadership positions focused on policies involving the profession of Medicine and the improvement of healthcare for patients, especially within her hometown communities of Tangipahoa andSt. Tammany Parish. She finds joy in making a difference in a patient's life through her commitment to lifelong learning and participating in advocacy and legislative activities. Dr. Ingolia is extremely passionate about the field of Internal Medicine and the advancement of medicine toward high-quality patient-centered care. She believes in getting to know her patients as a person and developing longitudinal relationships with them in which she can become their advocate. She encourages shared decision-making to help patients navigate their health and achieve their healthcare goals to live long, healthy lives. She remains true to her values and is committed to the health and well-being of her patients as well as continuing to work towards the advancement of medical education and training of future leaders within Internal Medicine. Dr. Ingolia earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland in 2018. She achieved Fellowship status in the American College of Physicians in August 2022, which is an honor bestowed upon physicians recognized as leaders within the field of Internal Medicine and noted by the credentials of FACP.Dr. Ingolia is seeing patients in Covington at the AVALA Care clinic, a member of the AVALA Physician Network.
