About Andrea R. O'Donnell, RD, LDN

My name is Andrea O’Donnell. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist by training, and I began practicing in 2008. I am also trained as a Certified Intuitive Eating counselor and Licensed Be Body Positive Facilitator. Over the years I have worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including clinical work and research in hospitals and outpatient nutrition counseling. I work with folks seeking to return to a place of peace with food, their bodies, and their own unique definition of health. My approach is compassionate and client-centered. I believe it is my job to ask thoughtful questions, so you can connect with your body’s wisdom in order to know what you long for; be it food, movement, rest, or laughter with a dear friend. I believe food is nourishing, and pleasurable, and holds many social and emotional aspects that deserve acknowledgment. I utilize the Principles of Intuitive Eating in my work. I also utilize mindfulness techniques and offer opportunities for somatic experiences in sessions.
