About Deepti Saini, MD

Dr. Deepti Saini was born in India and grew up in Bakersfield, California. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and then went on to obtain a Masters in Physiology at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She then attended Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia where she went on to graduate with honors.

Dr. Saini stayed in Philadelphia to complete her internship year at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and then completed her Ophthalmology residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center where she was named Chief Resident her final year. After residency, Dr. Saini practiced comprehensive ophthalmology in Chambersburg, PA where she further gained training with Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery. She also was associate clinical professor at Penn State Hershey Medical Center where she taught residents cataract surgery.

Dr. Saini is compassionate and helps each patient understand their diagnosis and treatment options in an effort to provide the highest standard of care possible. When not at work, Dr. Saini enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter. She also enjoys cooking, traveling and reading.
