Dr. Joseph Crippes graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1988. Dr Crippes completed a Hospital Dentistry Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in1989. He completed the Straight Wire Orthodontics Certification Program with Dr. Geherty in 1997. Prior to dental school, Dr. Crippes graduated from the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul Minnesota. He is a native Iowan, and grew up in Dubuque.

Dr. Joe, as he is called by patients and staff, is married to Lauren. They have three grown children. The Crippes family celebrated son, Landon’s and daughter Kylie’s weddings in 2021. Outside of the office Dr.Joe enjoys biking, running, golf, spending time with family and supporting the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Dr. Crippes is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association and Linn County Dental Society.
