Hi. I'm Brandy Biglow, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor serving the state of Florida 100% online.
As a trauma-informed, culturally relevant, nationally certified licensed mental health counselor, I want to use what I have learned to teach and show you you're not "crazy." I want to come alongside you and walk with you on a journey of holistic healing.
Using a large dose of humor, the latest research, and an integrative approach, I want you to learn how your brain and body have been affected by the experiences you have had. Then, in a safe, empathetic, and collaborative environment we will explore and find (LEGAL AND HEALTHY ??) coping skills and strategies to help you learn how to manage stressful situations and events.
You are NOT alone!
Together we will learn what you need to live a life where you feel authentic, living according to your values. You will learn how to incorporate deliberate rest and play (yes I said deliberate), fulfilling work, and engaging relationships.
As we travel on this renovation journey, I assure you it will be the hardest work you have ever done. At the same time, it will be the most rewarding, fulfilling, and transformative work you have ever done. We will encounter barriers and work through them together. You will want to quit, and I will just be there to hear you out. My position is that of facilitator, guide, partner, and/or just someone to sit there and validate and acknowledge you, your experience, and your life.
