About Alex Velednitskiy, DPT, CSCS

After completing his Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Nutrition from the Brooklyn CUNY College, Dr.Alex pursued his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at Long Island University, New York. He spent the first 3 years post-graduation at a local teaching Hospital, honing his skills under tutelage of experienced therapists and physicians.

Dr.Alex has worked over 11 years in areas, ranging from hospital to homecare, to outpatient practice settings. He has been a staff clinician, director, clinical instructor, guest lecturer, expert consultant, and has dedicated his life to bringing quality care to his patients. Dr.Alex also understands the rigors of sport and how it can affect the musculoskeletal system and lead to sports-related injuries, as he has successfully completed over a dozen Triathlons, including 3 Half Ironman races. He is especially skilled in manual therapy, joint mobilization techniques, and has a keen interest in treatments of spine pathologies. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Sports and Conditioning Association. Currently, Alex is pursuing advanced level certifications in manual therapeutic techniques for the spine.
