About Maria R. O'brien, MD
Dr. Maria O’Brien has been a medical doctor for 25 years and is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She has always had a personal interest in aesthetics and beauty which has materialized at the turn of the millennium into a laser center for skin and beauty. Dr. O’Brien passionately devotes her time to listening carefully to people’s concerns and then using her knowledge and expertise in finding the best solution tailored to patients’ desires, time and budget. She has met the highest standards of education and experience in general care, aesthetic procedures, as well as medical weight loss and she is a member of the ASMLE (American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery).
Since 2003, Dr. O’Brien has been applying her over 25 years of experience in primary care to fighting the growing problem of obesity and the intertwining medical problems of diabetes, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure.
In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, walking, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
