My Graduate Degree training in Movement Therapy prior to my Professional Counselor Licensure provided my background in Body Image Therapy which I offer to all my clients struggling with eating disorders. Eating disorders must be addressed on a bodily level and the psych therapeutic use of movement and body-oriented therapies are essential to the full recovery process from an ED.
I offer groups to address eating behaviors/disorders and body image disturbance. Groups and sessions are in the office and via Doxy.me platform.
Working in CT since 1993 in 3 hospitals ED Units and 2 ED Programs allows me to successfully treat in my Private Practice on the Shoreline in CT.
Publishing a handbook (2019) enabled clients during the Covid pandemic in their recovery process and continues to be a resource handbook as they navigate through an ED or BI issues.
Lecturing on ED/BI topics at symposiums, libraries, and colleges with panels and solo since 2007.
