About Ashish K. Sahai, MD
Dr. Sahai is a board certified orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in minimally invasive spinal surgery, complex spine surgery including scoliosis surgery, revision spine surgery / Failed Back Syndrome (Failed Laser Spine Surgery), motion-preservation surgery and endoscopic spine surgery. He has a background in biomedical engineering that has led him to design and develop several patents in spinal surgery. In addition, Dr. Sahai also serves on several advisory boards and as a consultant for spine surgery device companies for designing new techniques and implants. Also because of his experience, he lectures and teaches other surgeons both nationally and internationally, as well as serving as a specialty training and visitation site.
Dr. Sahai’s intention in forming the Spine and Orthopedic Center (SOC) was to combine leading edge technology with multidisciplinary specialty physicians and surgeons to offer patients suffering from back pain and spinal conditions comprehensive care. This way the patient is well educated on all options when discussing a plan of treatment with their physician. Dr. Sahai works on a daily basis with Pain Specialists and Spinal Surgeons from both Orthopedic Surgery and Neurosurgery at SOC to bring the best result for the patient.
