About Aldo J. Barbero, MPSy, MSpEd, BCBA
As part of his clinical practice, Aldo has directed non-profits that assist children, teenagers, and adults on the autism spectrum. His expertise includes programs and intervention methods such as PECS, TEACCH, ESDM, and gold-standard ASD assessments, such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, CARS-2, and PEP-3. Currently, Aldo's company Blue Compass Behavioral Services offers Applied Behavior Analysis to children with autism spectrum disorders.
In addition to teaching graduate-level courses in developmental disabilities at the Universidad Metropolitana, Universidad Monteavila, and Universidad Central de Venezuela (Communication and Autism Spectrum Disorders in the Speech Pathology Graduate Program), he is also a Professor at the Universidad del Azuay in Cuenca, Ecuador, teaching inclusive education graduate programs.

Following graduation with honors from the Centro de Salud Hospital Psiquiatrico El Penon in Caracas, Venezuela, he pursued a Master's degree in Special Education and Early Intervention at the Universidad Internacional de Valencia in Valencia, Spain.
