About Josephine A. Clingan, MD
Dr. Josephine Anne Clingan is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. She received her doctor of medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Pain Medicine at Columbia University-Mount Sinai Morningside, in New York City. This included rotations at Memorial Sloan-Kettering, Lenox Hill, and Columbia University Hospital.
She has been published most recently in Frontiers in Pain Research for her article “Survey of Spinal Cord Stimulation Hardware Currently Available for the Treatment of Chronic Pain in the United States.”
Dr. Clingan sees patients with a variety of painful conditions including herniated and/or degenerative disc disease, joint osteoarthritis, sciatica, fibromyalgia, migraines, post-herpetic neuralgia, and more. She offers a number of interventional pain strategies including epidural injections, selective nerve root injections, medial branch/facet blocks, RFA, pulsed RFA, spinal cord stimulation, sacroiliac joint injections, Botox for migraines, major joint injections including knees, hips, and shoulders, tennis elbow and golf elbow injections, trigger point injections, stellated, lumbar sympathetic blocks, and more.
Dr. Clingan sees each patient as an individual with the goal of rehabilitating conditions using interventional treatments and injections with the purpose of returning these patients to their optimal wellness.
