About Reginald L. Wells, MEd, PhD
Reginald Wells has been providing therapeutic services since 2010 in the capacity as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor since 2015. Dr. Wells was also ordained as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ since 2007.
As an LPC and an ordained minister, Dr. Wells has counseled and assisted others in the capacity as a licensed clinician working in an outdoor therapeutic center for children and adolescents, a psychiatric hospital for children, and in mental health/behavioral health outpatient agencies as a Clinical Director and Clinical Team Lead. He has also ministered to families as a young and young adult pastor and trainer of youth and young adult workers as well as an associate pastor for several years.
Dr. Wells has been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in 2006, as a trainer in Suicide Risk and Assessment through the Suicide Prevention Risk Center (SPRC) in 2015, and currently being certified as a certified trauma clinician through the International Association of Trauma Professionals.
As the owner and clinician at Well Living Counseling and Consulting, LLC it is the goal of Dr. Wells to provide holistic and quality therapeutic care for clients and their families whether through the treatment modality of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and/or pastoral care.
Education
Dr. Wells graduated from Mercer University and from Troy University. Reginald L. Wells, MEd, PhD earned degrees of a Master of Education and Doctor of Philosophy.
