Dr. Dotti Bailey, DSW, LICSW, PIP, RYT-200, RCYT is the founder and owner of Bailey Wellness Group in Pelham, Alabama.
Prior to opening Bailey Wellness, Dr. Bailey spent more than 25 years working with non-profit organizations and has expertise in nonprofit management and leadership, clinical supervision, management and leadership, grant writing, financial and resource development, program development, evaluation, and organizational structure, processes, and sustainability.
Most recently, Dr. Bailey was Executive Director for SafeHouse of Shelby County, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing critical domestic and sexual violence response, prevention, and intervention programs for a four-county service area in Alabama (2013-2022). Dr. Bailey is also an instructor at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville College of Social Work teaching Clinical Management in the doctorate program.
Education
Dr. Bailey is a Doctor of Social Work and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with extensive training, expertise, and experience implementing many evidence-based trauma treatments is certified in TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and play therapy, art therapy, mindfulness, and yoga. She received a Doctor of Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville; a Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama; and a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work from the University of Montevallo.
