Michael F Ambrose, MD is a board-certified physician who was born on the island of St. Vincent and the Grenadine, West Indies. He left his home as a young boy after earning an academic scholarship to pursue an undergraduate education at Lewis University, Romeoville, Illinois. He then earned a presidential scholarship to the University of Illinois, Chicago, where he obtained his medical Doctorate. He completed his postgraduate medical training at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial hospital, Miami, Florida.
Dr. Ambrose is an established and highly skilled physician with over 20 years of experience treating numerous medical conditions. He has spent the last 17 years in clinical practice as a preceptor and mostly treating patients in the ER, hospital and outpatient clinics in Hartsville, South Carolina. Over the past 10 years, Dr. Ambrose has been involved in donating his time and expertise in organizing orthopedic medical missions to the Caribbean. He has occupied position of medical director for numerous medical spas where he performed and oversaw injectable procedures. His passion for medicine is driven by the bonds he builds with his patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment he holds in keeping them healthy and well.
Dr. Ambrose is a member of the American Medical Association and enjoys doing outdoor activities to keep in shape. He plays tennis three times a week, loves traveling and is an avid reader. He presently resides in Jupiter, Florida with his wife and daughter.
