About Anny J. Gunadasa, MS, LMHC, CCTP, CAS
I founded ARCH Mental Health & Healing Center, LLC. on 10/12/2020 with the dream to build an organization with a great team who are empathetic to the needs of others and wanted to provide a high quality of service to the community.
I am working on achieving a Ph.D. degree in Psychology at NCU and I am a Doctoral Candidate. I have 15 years of experience working successfully as a counselor with children, adults, and families with different life issues and disorders.
My goals are to assist my client to heal, achieve their goals, increase their hope, and find solutions to their life issues as a team. I enjoy working with children and their families to help with behavioral and emotional difficulties, family dynamics, and educational related issues. I knew that the community is needing support with resources and a team that can advocate for them in the school and the community and I want to be there for them.
I have a high rate of success working with children with ADHD, ODD, trauma, adjustment disorder, and other conditions. In addition, I have experience and have succeeded in helping teens and adults with issues related to depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, substance use disorder, PICA, OCD, and family issues.
Approaches use:
For children and teens: CPRT, Filial Therapy, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Trauma-focused Therapy & CBT.
For Adults: CBT, Trauma-focused Therapy, EFT, Motivational Interview, Solution Focuses Therapy, DBT, and ACT.
