About Austin M. Hasquet, DMD, MD
Dr. Austin Hasquet is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Northwest Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, where he is committed to providing exceptional surgical care to patients throughout The Woodlands and the greater North Houston community. He combines advanced surgical training with a patient-centered approach, emphasizing compassion, clear communication and individualized treatment plans. Originally from Peoria, Arizona, Dr. Hasquet attended Northern Arizona University on both football and academic scholarships. During his collegiate career, he distinguished himself both on the field and in the classroom as a multiple-time All-Conference football player, a two-time All-Conference selection, a two-time First Team Academic All-American, a National Football Foundation National Scholar-Athlete and a finalist for the prestigious William V. Campbell Trophy, often referred to as the “Academic Heisman.”
Dr. Hasquet earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the national dental honor society recognizing academic excellence, scholarship and exemplary character. He then earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center before completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency through the Texas A&M University/Baylor University Medical Center program in Dallas, TX. His training included a General Surgery internship at Baylor University Medical Center, where he gained extensive experience managing complex surgical conditions, traumatic injuries and medically compromised patients.
Dr. Hasquet is trained in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His areas of expertise include wisdom tooth removal, dentoalveolar surgery, bone grafting, dental implants, full-arch dental implant rehabilitation, zygomatic implants, orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgery (including total joint replacement), complex facial trauma and maxillofacial reconstruction. He is board-eligible with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is committed to lifelong learning and maintaining the highest standards of surgical excellence.
Dr. Hasquet is passionate about building lasting relationships with his patients and referring providers. He understands that undergoing surgery can be an overwhelming experience and strives to ensure that every patient feels heard, informed and comfortable throughout every step of their care. Dr. Hasquet and his family chose to make The Woodlands their home because of its strong sense of community, exceptional quality of life and commitment to family values. They are excited to become active members of the community they are privileged to serve. Outside of the office, Dr. Hasquet enjoys spending time with his wife and their two young children and is excited to welcome their third child in the fall of 2026.
