I am an experienced board-certified Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a graduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. I have been practicing for more than 12 years and hold multi-state licensures. As a doctoral candidate, I have an affinity for education and thus, continue to expand my research and knowledge to provide exceptional treatment for optimal patient outcomes using evidence-based practice. It is my mission to promote life-long wellness by integrating spirituality in Christianity into my comprehensive model of psychiatric care, advocacy, and support for each of my patients.
I am committed to ensuring that my patients are confident that their care is being entrusted to a knowledgeable, advocating, and uplifting mental health provider who is focused on improving their quality of life. I instinctively demonstrate cultural awareness, sensitivity, and diversity support in an effort to close the gap that contributes to racial, ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic disparities and injustices in healthcare. My mission is to empower patients by educating them on their diagnoses and fostering participation in their plans of care. As a purpose-driven Christian and healthcare professional, dedication, compassion, service, and acceptance are the foundation of my practice. I perform thorough psychiatric evaluations, formulate diagnoses, initiate treatment, and incorporate talk therapy by using evidence-based practice. I treat depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia/psychotic disorders, ADHD, Autism spectrum disorders, and more from the safety and comfort of your home.
