About Sara Peffley, PT, CBIS

My name is Sara Peffley. I’ve been a physical therapist for 30 years w/ a neuro/vestibular specialty for the past 10 years. I am a certified medical therapeutic yoga instructor and a certified functional nutrition educator. I have been expanding on the functional nutrition aspect of my knowledge base, teaching in group settings to reach more people as more of a preventative practice. Many of the clients I see for neurological and vestibular issues benefit from physical therapy and exercise as well as advice about nutrition and lifestyle. I’ve contracted for a mental health clinic and integrated the yoga lifestyle and nutritional advice and found that many people were better able to manage their anxiety/depression. With the functional approach, I teach clients how all the body systems are integrated and how much they eat, drink, and sleep and how they manage stress can impact pain levels, overall health, and state of mind. My hope is to reach as many people as I can who may be struggling with minor issues and who are able to make changes and heal before coming into a full disease state. My ideal client is someone who is open-minded and ready to make changes in the form of diet, lifestyle, and exercise to reach their health goals.
