About Vasileios Vasilakis, MD, FACS
Dr. Vasileios Vasilakis is a fellowship-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon, who offers a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures of the face, breast, and body. He spent years refining his skills through advanced training in aesthetic surgery, culminating with his Aesthetic Surgery fellowship endorsed by the Aesthetic Society. Dr. Vasilakis is highly regarded for his personalized approach to patient care, using cutting-edge surgical and minimally invasive techniques to promote optimal outcomes.
Education
Dr. Vasilakis was raised in Athens, Greece, then moved to London, United Kingdom, to fulfill his academic aspirations. He earned a bachelor of science and a medical degree from the world-renowned University of London, and completed a post-graduate clinical year in medicine and surgery in two of London’s leading university hospitals.
During medical school, Dr. Vasilakis was recognized by the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, and was awarded a national scholarship to study microsurgery and complex reconstructive techniques alongside global experts in Taiwan. Dr. Vasilakis was selected for the honor of serving as a medical school representative at London’s prestigious Royal Society of Medicine, where he led numerous educational committees, including the seminal symposium “Role of Plastic Surgery in Times of Mass Trauma.”
